Which of the six wives lived the longest?
VERDICTTRUE
Anne of Cleves, the one the rhyme files under “divorced.” Her marriage was annulled in July 1540 with a generous settlement that included Hever in Kent, once the Boleyn family home. She stayed on good terms with Henry and his children, outlived him and all five other wives, and died at Chelsea on 17 July 1557. She is buried in Westminster Abbey.
