Terms
Effective October 10, 2026
History, Allegedly is a fill-in-the-blank comedy game. You type words, the site drops them into a screenplay, and, if you have an account, AI voices perform it and an AI image model paints a still. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use History, Allegedly. The screenplays contain innuendo and adult humor. When you create an account you confirm your date of birth; if we learn an account belongs to someone under 18 we delete it.
It's satire
The scripts put real historical people in made-up situations for comedy. Nothing here is a factual claim about anyone. The "things that really happened" notes are the only parts meant as history.
Your words
Don't type anything hateful, harassing, threatening, sexually explicit, or anything that targets a real private person. Words are limited to short, plain text, and real celebrities named in a blank are left out of the paintings. We may suspend accounts that try to misuse the game.
What you make
The screenplays and site are ours. The words you type and the stills and movies made from them are yours to keep, share and post for personal, non-commercial fun. Voices and images are generated by AI and can be odd, wrong, or occasionally ugly; regenerate by changing a word.
Fair use limits
Performances and paintings cost us money per use, so each account has a daily limit. Don't script, scrape, or resell access.
No warranty
The site is provided as-is, for fun. We don't promise it will always be available or that anything generated will be accurate. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of it.
Ending things
You can delete your account any time from the Account menu. We can close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
If these terms change we'll update the date above, and for big changes we'll ask you to agree again.
