Privacy

Effective October 10, 2026

Short version: we keep your email and the fact that you agreed to things. Your words, stills and movies live on your own device. No ads, no trackers, no selling data.

What we collect

What stays on your device

The words you type, the stills, the voice recordings and any movie you make are stored in your browser only. We don't keep a copy. Clear them any time from the Account menu or your browser settings.

Who processes your words

When you press Perform or Paint, our server sends the screenplay line with your words in it through treg.to, an API gateway, to Fish Audio (voices) or Replicate running a Black Forest Labs model (images). They return the audio or image and we pass it straight to you. Those services process the text under their own terms. We never send your email or account details with the request.

The site is hosted on Vercel. Fonts load from Google Fonts and the login library loads from jsDelivr, which means those services see your IP address when the page loads.

Cookies and storage

We use only what the site needs to work: your login session and your saved words, both in your browser's storage. No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no cookie banner.

How long we keep it

Account and consent records: until you delete your account. Usage counts: deleted with your account.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can see, correct, export or delete your data. Delete your account yourself from the Account menu and it's gone immediately, usage records included. For anything else, email us and we'll answer within 30 days. We don't sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined under California law.

Children

History, Allegedly is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we delete it if we find it.

Changes

We'll update the date above when this changes and tell account holders about anything significant.
